I am a veterinarian based out of Seattle, WA. I provide locum and relief services to general practices, urgent cares, and emergency and specialty hospitals in Washington and California.

My approach is grounded in centering patient and client care needs to prioritize standard of care while offering a flexible approach. As a member of your hospital team, I am there to support and grow your practice by working alongside your team to deliver the best patient and client care.

Training: ECC and Rotating Internship, Pet Emergency and Specialty Center, La Mesa, CA 2020-2021

Surgery

  • emergent abdominal soft tissue surgery (gastrostomy, enterotomy, resection & anastomosis, gastropexy, splenectomy, cystotomy), fluency with ligasure and GI stapler techniques

  • spay & neuter, concurrently trained in high volume techniques

  • surgical wound care - debridement, wound closure, Jackson-Pratt drainage

  • endoscopic foreign body retrieval and biopsy

General Practice

  • preventative health and wellness

  • nutrition planning

  • dermatology 

  • endocrine disease management

  • Fear Free certified

Emergency & Critical Care

  • fluency with advanced point of care ultrasound techniques, including FNA and TAP blocks

  • thoracocentesis, pericardiocentesis, and abdominocentesis, chest tube and abdominal drainage placement

  • complex sedation and anesthetic planning, including TIVA for emergent abdominal surgery

  • sodium derangement fluid therapy planning and management

  • complex endocrinopathy therapy planning and management

  • high-flow nasal oxygen and ventilator case management

  • blood product transfusion and resuscitation therapy

  • Advanced RECOVER certified

  • fluency with specialty referral criteria and concurrent specialty case management
